VALSUGANA
Valsugana is a wide valley, located in Trentino, whose prevailing colours are the turquoise of its lakes and the green of its meadows and mountains.
The valley is well known for its main lakes: Caldonazzo and Levico. They both have been awarded the “Blue Flag” award, thanks to the high quality of the local touristic facilities and the clean and transparent waters. Whether you are simply longing to relax on the beach or swim, or to experience one of the many sports activities - canoeing, windsurfing, sailing, SUP, waterskiing) Valsugana will meet your desires! The area is full of campsites where you will experience the typical Italian welcoming atmosphere. If you are a mountain lover, the main local peaks, including Panarotta and the Lagorai Mountain Chain feature many hiking paths, long mountain bike trails - suitable for the e-bikes too - and ski resorts for your winter holidays. But the valley is also known for its famous 80 km long bike path, stretching along the Brenta River, as well as for its popular Christmas markets, held in Pergine and in Levico Terme, the thermal baths, the Austrian-Hungarian forts and castles, the excellent gastronomical tradition and the possibility to try unusual sports, like playing golf and paragliding.
