The marvelous Valsugana cycle path connects Lake Caldonazzo with the town of Bassano del Grappa.
It is probably one of the most beautiful and famous in Italy, as underlined by the press award obtained in 2020 at the Italian Green Roads Award, the Italian Oscar for cycle tourism.
The route is about 80 km long and it takes cyclists along the Brenta river and is almost always flat to allow everyone, even families with children, to enjoy a pleasant day of sport in close contact not only with nature, but also with the history and culture of the valley. The cycle path goes through pictoresque villages and it offers a view on attractions that can be admired (some with small deviations): the Castle of Pergine, Lake Caldonazzo, the Calceranica mine, the Fort of Tenna, Lake Levico, the thermal baths of Levico, Castel Telvana, just to mention a few.
For a stress-free bike holiday there are many services available: bicigrill for refreshment during the journey, repair and rental points and the "Train + Bike" service to transport your bike comfortably by train.
