Tremalzo Pass in Ledro Valley

Panoramic MTB excursion in Ledro Valley

For all tourists who love camping, mountain biking and hiking, the Valle di Ledro offers numerous opportunities for a family holiday in the mountains in the open air: more than 200 km of marked MTB trails; a rich network of hiking trails; paragliding; climbing on rock walls and much more.

A must for all bikers is undoubtedly the climb to Monte Tremalzo, from which you can enjoy breath-taking views of the valley. The route starts in Molina di Ledro. Through the valley it reaches Lake Ampola, from which an asphalted road leads to the Tremalzo pass at an altitude of 1840 meters. The view of Lake Garda, Lake Ledro and the Brenta Dolomites is the reward for the bikers after the climb of about 900 meters in altitude.

From Passo Tremalzo the route joins the military road dating back to the First World War. After the Nota pass the road is flatter up to Guil pass, from where a steep mule track leads to Prè and joins the cycle path up to Lake Ledro. You can choose to bike the route starting from each of the two ends.

If you like downhill the recommended route is the one that descends from Caset along a fairly narrow and technical path in the woods.
