Trail Round Molveno and Nembia Lakes
Molveno and Nembia Lakes: the stunning Brenta Dolomites
The Paganella Plateau is a natural gym for a wide range of sporting activities, including mountain biking. Many paths with various levels of difficulty can be found around the Molveno Lake.
One route which is suitable for all, also for families, is the route that runs along the lake with a small detour to discover the beautiful oasis of Lake Nembia. The total length is 12.8 km and it requires less than 2 hours to walk on asphalt and dirt roads with a total difference in altitude of about 90 meters.
The route starts from the Lido di Molveno and continues along Via Marocchi where you turn left to the Roman bridge. You begin with a short climb to the "Doss Corno" and then walk down on the right bank of the lake to the waterfall.
At the crossroad with an asphalted road, turn right passing the Enel power plant and then continue on a dirt road to the Nembia lake, where you will find some benches, tables and BBQ places to take a pleasant break. The you need to continue until the path crosses the paved road again to continue to the state road. After reaching the state road you have to continue to walk to the left and admire the lake and the Brenta Dolomites up to Molveno.
