Rafting in Val di Sole
Noce River: one of the most beautiful rivers in the world for rafting
The Noce River is certainly one of the most popular canoeing routes in Italy for various reasons: the different levels of difficulty available along the route; the length of the navigable stretch; the beauty of the landscapes of the Val di Sole.
The spring of the river is at about 2,000 meters in the Ortles-Cevedale group. The river joins with the Noce Bianco near Cogolo in Val di Pejo. After a 3km descent the water course plunges downstream, forming a particularly demanding rapid route recommended only for the most skilled. The power and speed of the water diminishes as soon as the Noce joins the Vermigliana torrent.
Rafting on the Noce river means experiencing an adrenaline-fueled 28km long journey with different levels of difficulty between rushing rapids or calmer stretches where you can simply enjoy the nature of Val di Sole.
The magazine National Geographic classifies the Noce as one of the 10 most beautiful rivers in the world for rafting: indeed, it offers stretches varying from the third to the fifth degree (the highest level). You just need to be able to swim: rafting is a fun activity suitable for all!
You can enjoy your unforgettable rafting experience from one of the many rafting companies located in Val di Sole, which also offer other exciting activities: hydro speed, canyoning, canoeing, kayaking and many other outdoor sports.
