Path of the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Piné
Plateau de Piné: let's bike to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Piné by MTB
A good a mountain-bike itinerary suitable for the whole family is undoubtedly the path of the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Piné, which is on the Piné plateau, a few km from the city of Trento. The path is very interesting for all bike lovers.
The route begins in the small village of Miola di Piné and winds through the Laghestel nature reserve. From Miola you reach the village of Faida and, after the church, continue south downhill on a secondary paved road. After crossing a wood, you reach a stone bridge and after one hundred meters turn right towards Laghestel. Along the road you can observe numerous "masi" (large stones) and from here you should follow the path on the right to admire the Rio Negro waterfalls. A slightly sloping climb leads to the small village of Erla and it reaches Montagnaga. Frome here you take a provincial road which leads directly to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Piné.
You go back to the starting point biking on dirt roads crossing the nature reserve and small paved roads through the countryside, marked as a cycle path.
