Levico Lake

A gorgeous warm lake in Valsugana similar to a Norwegian fjord

The Levico Lake is very similar to a Norwegian fjord with a surface of over 1 square km.

Together with the nearby Lake Caldonazzo, also in Valsugana, it is considered one of the warmest lakes in the Alps and has obtained the important international award of the "Blue Flag" for the quality of its clear waters, for the equipped beach and for the services offered on site, including two campsites. A perfect destination not only to relax on the beach between one swim and another, but also to have fun practicing water sports such as canoeing and SUP, or for trout fishing.

The Levico Lake is surrounded by green woods which you can explore walking on the scenic promenade that goes around it, also passing by the Biotope Canneto, a protected area to visit. The east shore of the lake has two equipped bathing establishments and a public beach.

The nearby town of Levico Terme with its popular thermal baths, offers to the travellers numerous opportunities for recreation and well-being: numerous quality restaurants to savor typical Trentino dishes; a large Habsburg Park; a fascinating Christmas market; a nearby ski area; a well-known medical thermal centre.
