During the Trento Mountain Film Festival Trento turns into the international capital of mountain lovers, climbers, film directors and writers. From 1952 to today, the history of the Trento Film Festival has been intertwined with the history of the mountains and mountaineering, making it a real laboratory on how to experience the mountains and adventure.
Each year the Trento Film Festival presents the best documentaries, fiction films and short films that have mountains as a backdrop and tell the fascinating relationship between man and nature. Films are displayed, together with books and artistic works concerning the world of the mountains.
The flagship of the festival are the event evenings, between historical re-enactment and current events, an opportunity to get to know the greatest protagonists of international mountaineering. In addition, you will find round tables, theater and music performances, and finally the “Parco dei Mestieri”, the beating heart of the festival and with a program of events suitable for families and children.
